Papa!

Robert had a trip to LANL yesterday and had extra time so he came for a visit. We told Lexi Papa was coming to see her on Wednesday. She kept asking about him and saying, "Papa is coming to Lexi's house?"

After missing the doctor's appointment, we all came home. We'd been here about an hour when the door bell rang. Lexi yelled, "Papa, papa!" and charged the door. When I opened the door, she then ran to Allen for cover, but as soon as Robert came in, she ran over and gave him a big hug. She was thrilled to have Papa here. She led him all around the house and outside. She did his hair and sat with him while we talked. I think she said "Papa" about 200 times trying to demand his attention. Of course, Papa was more than happy to hear about all things Lexi and show extreme excitement when she told him about her babies, cooked him cereal, named the letters, etc.
