We went to the parade Saturday morning. This year, our family was in the parade so we enjoyed seeing them, too.
You can see here that this is the beginning of the end for Lexi. That face captures her attitude for most of the trip.
Aunt Rachel with Claire.
Addie, Allen and Lexi. Again, her face says it all.
Nolan and Lexi waiting eagerly for the parade to start.
There were some interesting entries in this year's parade. I'm not sure why this veteran was riding a child's BMX rather than walk with his fellow soldiers.
Here's Sparkles the clown! She's married to this guy:
I'm not kidding. As the mom's walked by, you could see that the boots were all too big for them. They must be very proud of their children.
Only in America.
These guys cracked me up. These were actual motorized coolers that they rode in the parade.
Uncle Brent and the "Stand UP America" van.
This here is the last survivor from Pearl Harbor.
Aunt Rachel noticed something peculiar here. Read the flag very closely. Can you believe it?

Great pictures and coverage of the parade! What a fun day!
The woman in the navy blue shirt, holding Addie...is she Allen's mom?
