Addie turned one on December 12!
We celebrated with Nana, who brought home-made dairy-free cake and icing all the way from Idaho so Addie could enjoy a treat for the special day.
You know, Addie isn't much of an eater...
and she wasn't so sure about the cake...
but after a few tries, decided it wasn't too bad.
We sang and opened presents and celebrated this little blessing that has added so very much to our family. Addie is a little spit-fire who started walking at 9 months, whose first response is to smile, who loves to go for rides and tells us by saying, "GO! GO! GO!" as we're getting dressed, is already trying to draw and color, wants to read and read and read and read all. day. long., and is always ready for the next adventure. We're so glad with her tumultuous beginning that she has blossomed into the dynamic little person she is.

Yay for Addie!! I can't believe she's already one, and sooo smart...must take after her mom. LOL! Good luck throughout the next year as well.

Thank you for sharing your girls with me! It was wonderful to be there when Addie first arrived and when she turned 1 yr. God has truly blessed ALL of us!
