Four of a Kind!

Today was our 19 week ultrasound. When we got there, the baby was curled up tight, breech, and posterior (head facing my back) so we couldn't see a thing but the spine! The ultrasound tech had me coughing and rolling and tilted the table so my head was down to try and move the kid around so we could actually get something done in there.

Finally, he was able to get some pictures of the important stuff. You know, kidneys, brain, femur bone, etc. The heart shots were a little iffy so we have to go back in 4 weeks for another ultrasound to make sure all 4 chambers are up and running.

In the mean time, we'd like to introduce you to girl #4:

The baby is measuring (by head cicumference, femur bone length, and abdominal circumference) at 20 weeks, 2 days and 12 oz.

You can see a nice profile and two hands in this one.

Hi!

I hope I don't offend anyone with this, but here's our "proof" shot. The tech even put a cute little arrow pointing right at the goods. You know, just in case it wasn't clear enough.

Can't wait to meet this sweet little spirit and welcome her into our family!

Way to go Allen! After all, you've got the girl stuff down as I witnessed recently. Congrats!
