Actual Correspondence

Actual email to Allen.
Subject: today

So far:
Lexi sh*t her pants
Addie got into vaseline and smeared it all over herself and her clean clothes - all while I'm getting Lexi changed and clean from her sh*t-capade so I had to change Addie - again - before we could leave
and then we waited 45 minutes just to get into the exam room
and when we got home
Lexi peed in front of the toilet
so she needed a bath -
it isn't even naptime yet.
If your day has been worse than mine, don't even bother coming home. I'll sell the kids to the first bidder and meet you Mexico.

Perhaps it's time to set up family exchange. I take your kids for a length of time; then it's you turn. With our combined parenting skills they should all turn out average. This avoids ebay listings, ice binges and so forth (at least while they are away). And best of all neither one of us has to endure pregnancy any longer. Between the 4 of us, we will have multiplied and replenished!

I wish I dared send Ben emails like that-I always have to call and do it over the phone, it doesn't get the same response! Hope Lex feels better soon and that Addie behaves herself better! Oh, yeah, did Lexi leave an elephant charm bracelet here when you visited? The babies found one somewhere and I have no idea where they got it or who it belongs to.

Oh Traci! The story is sad but the way you wrote it made me laugh! I'm glad those days are gone for me! It made me grimace...you have my sympathy! (Allen couldn't possibly have had a worse morning!!)

Well, to look at the bright side of things-at least you still sound like your sense of humor is in tact! I wish I could help you out so badly! Stay strong!
